At The Kenyan Locksmith, we are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship, premium architectural hardware, and a purchasing experience that reflects the quality of our products. Every item is carefully inspected before it leaves our showroom to ensure it meets our exacting standards.
Our Policy
As our products are premium architectural fittings, all sales are considered final.
For this reason, goods once sold cannot be returned or refunded except where required by an unlikely event that an incorrect or defective item has been supplied.
We encourage our customers to confirm their selection, finish, and specifications before completing their purchase. Our team is always available to provide expert guidance to ensure you choose the perfect product for your project.
Exchange Policy
While returns are not accepted, we understand that project requirements can occasionally change. Subject to the conditions below, we may approve an exchange.
To qualify for an exchange:
- The request must be made within 7 days of receiving the product.
- The item must be unused, not-installed, and in brand-new condition.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging, complete with all accessories, keys, screws, fixing kits, manuals, warranty cards, and any other supplied components.
- The item must show no signs of installation, handling damage, scratches, dents, or wear.
Inspection & Approval
Every item presented for exchange will undergo a quality inspection by our team before approval.
The inspection confirms that:
- The product remains in its original saleable condition.
- All original components and accessories are present.
- No damage, alterations, or signs of installation are evident.
Items that do not meet these requirements may not be eligible for exchange.
Exchange Value
Approved exchanges may be made:
- For another product of equal value, or
- For a higher-value product upon payment of the price difference.
If a customer chooses an item of lower value, the difference is not refundable and cannot be credited toward future purchases.
Items Not Eligible for Exchange
For quality assurance reasons, the following cannot be exchanged:
- Products that have been installed or used.
- Products with scratches, dents, chips, or any form of physical damage.
- Products returned without their original packaging or with missing accessories or components.
- Special-order, customised, or made-to-order products.
- Clearance, promotional, or discontinued items, unless found to have a manufacturing defect.
Incorrect or Defective Products
In the rare event that you receive an incorrect item or a product with a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. After inspection, we will arrange an appropriate replacement or solution.
